Claude Code
Anthropic's agentic coding tool that reads your codebase, edits files, runs commands, and completes programming tasks from natural-language requests.
Claude Code is a coding agent from Anthropic. You describe what you want, such as fixing a bug, adding a feature, or explaining unfamiliar code, and it explores the repository, makes changes, runs tests, and reports back. It is available in the terminal, in IDE extensions, in a desktop app, and on the web.
It reads a CLAUDE.md file for project instructions, can connect to MCP servers for extra tools, supports skills and subagents, and asks for permission before risky actions unless you configure it otherwise.
Like any coding agent, it works best with clear tasks, a way to verify results such as a test suite, and a human who reviews the final diff.
